A NEW resort set to be officially inaugurated later this month aims to be one of the best in Bahrain.

Reef Resort, which lies within the multi-billion dollar Reef Island seafront development, had its soft launch earlier this month.

Attention to detail and a commitment to offer its clients the very best are what will set the resort apart from other such properties, according to officials.

“Despite the level of competition, I believe we will soon be one of the premier resorts in Bahrain,” said general manager Darryl Marsden.

“The subtle differences between the good and the great are in the details which our owner and chairman Robert Mouawad has delivered through this property.

“He has created a beautiful resort for people to enjoy and appreciate.

Service

“Our job is to deliver a level of service fitting our guests,” he told the GDN.

The resort features 39 villas, a health spa, a gym, children’s playgrounds and at least six fine dining restaurants.

The property, located on Manama’s northern shore, will be run by a 250-member team which will include Bahrainis.

“We will have a little over 250 team members on board soon and we do have a number of Bahraini staff at the resort, particularly in our front office department,” said Mr Marsden.

The villas comprise 102 living spaces which include villas, premium suites and deluxe rooms, some with patios and verandahs.

“We have 10 categories of rooms, with a maximum of five rooms per villa – some villas will have one room, others will have two and so on,” said marketing manager Tanvi Bhatia.
