BAHRAIN will once again be the venue for Brave International Combat Week featuring IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA in both 2018 and 2019.
IMMAF president Kerrith Brown signed contracts with this regard at a press conference yesterday at Rotana Hotel.
The 2018 and 2019 World Championships of Amateur MMA will be part of Brave International Combat Week.
In the previous edition of Brave International Combat Week, Bahrain witnessed athletes from 51 nations taking part in the event.
The current edition of the World Championships will be hosted during the 2018 Brave International Combat Week and is expecting participation from over 102 nations from around the world.
The edition will also feature a mega fight card from Brave Combat Federation featuring top international fighters.
The IMMAF officials thanked Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their support.
The 2018 event will be the second time that Bahrain will be hosting the IMMAF World Championships alongside the professional fight night of Brave Combat Federation.
The Kingdom of Bahrain is the only nation apart from the US to host the IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA.
The dates for the 2018 and 2019 events will be announced later.
