Bahrain Premier League semi-finals set

TABLE-toppers Bahrain Super Giants take on Awan Warriors, who finished third in the league, today at 8am in the first semi-final of the Coca-Cola Twenty20 Bahrain Premier League (BPL) while second-placed Four Square Challengers clash with fourth-placed Intex Lions in the second last four clash at 1pm.

The BPL is the first-ever franchise based T20 league and it is being organised by Exelon and KHK under the patronage of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The two other teams in the fray - Kaalam Knight Riders and SRam And MRam Falcons failed to make it the semi-finals finishing fifth and sixth in the league.

The final is set for March 16.
