‘Biased’ rights report rejected

GENEVA: Bahrain yesterday rejected negative remarks in the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights’ written review on Bahrain’s annual report. The review contains “inaccurate information” and deliberately and “unfairly sides with malicious elements who have suspicious political agendas and sectarian tendencies and who want to inflict harm” on Bahrain, its permanent representative to the UN office in Geneva Dr Yusuf Abdulkarim Bucheeri said during an interactive dialogue at the 37th session of the Human Rights Council.
