BRITISH singer-songwriter Rita Ora took to the stage at Bahrain Bay last night.

Her debut performance in Bahrain was organised by the Economic Development Board as part of this year’s Spring of Culture festival.

She performed an array of her hits much to the delight of the audience, who sang along to her well-known songs.

Some of her most popular singles include Your Song, How We Do, I Will Never Let You Down and For You, which recently featured on the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack.

During the show, Rita Ora posted a video to her social media with the crowd wishing the world a happy International Women’s Day.

Rita Ora rose to fame in 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh’s single Hot Right Now and subsequently released her debut album, Ora, in August 2012, both of which reached number one in the UK.

Her collaboration with Liam Payne in For You became her 12th Top 10 single on the Official Singles Chart last month, climbing to number eight on the latest Top 40.

This means Rita Ora has equalled the record for the most Top 10 singles by a British female artist.
