GOVERNMENT-owned companies, authorities and bodies that currently don’t contribute to the national budget could be obliged to pump their profits into public coffers.
MPs in their weekly session yesterday unanimously approved amendments to the 2002 National Budget Law, which could see 73 establishments forced to refer their profits to the Finance Ministry to fund projects .
