GDN Reader's View: Helicopter needed

Letters
CY

This refers to traffic congestion during morning rush hours in the Saar area.

I am a resident leaving Road 1725 in Saar area and driving from Avenue 13 to reach Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway. For the last month it takes me between 30-45 minutes to reach the highway especially between 7-8am. I suggest the authorities monitor traffic from a helicopter to understand the exact problem and come up with some solutions.

I think making some of the roads one-way might decrease congestion, especially if they are not wide enough to handle two-way traffic. For example Road 2520, at the corner. Cars joining from this road are the reason for a lot of accidents.

I hope action will be taken to solve this important issue.
