MANAMA take on Riffa tonight in the first game of their best-of-three semi-final series in the Khalifa bin Salman Cup.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 7pm and it will be played at Khalifa Sports City arena in Isa Town.
Game two is scheduled to take place on Sunday, while a third and decisive game, if necessary, is scheduled for Thursday next week.
The other semi-final between Muharraq and Al Ettihad is scheduled to get underway tomorrow night. Game two will be on Monday, while game three, if needed is scheduled for Friday next week.
Manama advanced to the final four after beating Bahrain Club while Riffa made it through with a one-point win over Nuwaidrat.
Muharraq, meanwhile, needed to go to overtime to defeat Al Ahli while Ettihad beat Isa Town.
Manama and Muharraq are favourites to go through. Manama are the defending league champions, while Muharraq are the reigning Cup holders.
Both teams met in last year’s Cup semi-finals, which Muharraq won in a stunning two games. Manama, however, got their revenge in the league finals, which they dominated.
Muharraq played Nuwaidrat in last year’s Cup final, which was a one-off game.
