LEBANESE superstar Ragheb Alama will take to the stage in Bahrain this weekend.
The singer and composer will perform at Bahrain Bay on Friday as part of the Spring of Culture festival.
Alama rose to fame in the 1980s when he appeared as a contestant on the talent show Studio El Fan.
He has since released several number one hit singles and albums which have made him one of the most commercially successful singers in the Arab world.
Ragheb Alama has 17 studio albums to his name and was a judge on Arab Idol and MBC The X-Factor.
In 2013, he was also appointed by the United Nations Environment Programme as the Goodwill Ambassador in West Asia.
The concert, organised by the Economic Development Board, will being at 8.30pm and tickets are still available at www.springofculture.org.
