Al Hekma International School hosted a ceremony in celebration of International Women’s Day.
It was attended by a large number of public figures in the field of social work and education.
Artworks made by students were displayed during the celebration, which is marked on March 8.
Moreover, there were many items targeting the role of the Bahraini women in the community to verify equal opportunities within the Bahraini society.
Well-known social worker and Gulf University chairwoman Dr Mona Alzayani presented the Al Hekma service portfolio together with certificates of merit and appreciation to the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
Attendees included public figures in the field of social work and education and among them was SCW educational consultant Hoda Salman along with SCW members Dr Sabah Algened and Wedad Almosawy and SCW family stability consultant Badreya Algeeb.
Also present was Education Ministry development and evaluation department head Mona Shaheen and on behalf of ministry’s head of private education Ahlam AlAmer another member of the private education department.
