DHL defeated Sri Lanka Club Avengers by three wickets in the semi-final of the HBL Corporate League organised by Cricket Bahrain Association.
Batting first, Sri Lanka posted 178 runs with Roshan (40) the top scorer. For DHL Rehmatullah claimed four wickets.
In reply, DHL chased the target for loss of seven wickets. Imran Anwar top scored with 106 of just 53 balls, including five sixes and seven fours.
Public Security Yellow defeated Bahrain National Guards by 79 runs in the second semi-final.
Batting first, Public Security posted 175 runs with Mubashir (58) the main contributor. He was well supported by Umar, who made 47 runs. For Bahrain National Guards, Sarfraz claimed two wickets.
In reply, Bahrain National Guards were all out for 96 runs. Umar claimed three wickets for Public Security Yellow.
