Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), and the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed the entry of Bahrain futsal into the Guinness Book of Records.
The first-ever Bahrain International Futsal Challenge kicked off on March 30 and went on for 24 hours which was a world record.
Shaikh Nasser said it was in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad to gather young people from different walks of life through sports.
He also praised the efforts of First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in developing sports in the country.
