A BAHRAINI man has been arrested for allegedly killing two Asian men in separate incidents with the intention of robbing them.

An investigation was launched after an incident was reported on Friday of a body found on a road in Jeblat Habshi, which has since been identified as that of 57-year-old Indian national Mohammed Islam Khan.

After examining the victim, it was found that there were signs of criminal suspicion, said the Interior Ministry in a statement issued last night.
The investigation led to the identity and arrest of the 24-year-old suspect, while it also showed that he allegedly committed a similar crime on March 29 in Tubli, which led to the death of another Asian man.
This is in addition to his alleged involvement in other thefts. Relevant legal procedures are being taken in preparation for the transfer of the suspect to the Public Prosecution, added the statement.
