A Kuwaiti national is facing trial on charges of falsifying official documents, including certificates and many other transactions.
The suspect is accused of using fake seals attributed to government departments, Al Qabas reported.
The police raided his house and seized printers, a scanner, a laptop and other equipment. They also confiscated KD143,127 in cash and forged cheques.
The authorities have launched an inquiry to identify the people who dealt with the suspect and obtained counterfeit documents.
The man had been sentenced to six months in jail in absentia in connection with another case.
