Pakistan School too hot for Colts

PAKISTAN School beat Colts Cricket Academy by eight wickets in the under-14 section of the Cricket Bahrain Association-Alba Invitation Cricket Tournament.

Batting first, the Colts made 62 for the loss of six wickets with Nadith Tennakon (12) the top scorer while Hassam Ahmed, Adeel Rashid, Sana Ullah, Abdullah Umer and Wajahat Ud Rehman claimed a wicket each for Pakistan School.

In reply, Pakistan School reached the target losing two wickets. Abdullah Umer (16) and Haroon Atif (16) were the main scorers.

Haroon was declared Man-of-the-Match.

In the under-12 section, Cric Bahrain Academy edged out Pakistan School by nine runs.

Batting first, Cric Bahrain Academy made 89 for two wickets with Madhav (10*), Gagan Shetty (16) and Ishan (12*) the main scorers.

In reply, Pakistan School were restricted to 80 for seven wickets. Mubeen ul Haq top scored with an unbeaten 23 while Madhav, Ishan and Ashish claimed two wickets each for Cric Bahrain. Gagan was declared Man-of-the-Match.

In two other matches Alba-Red and Alba-Blue scored over Colts Cricket Academy and Pakistan Urdu School respectively.


Batting first, the Colts were bowled out for 60. Aryan Ashwin (23) and Arjun Mahesh (12) were the main contributors while Arnav Nair claimed three wickets for eight runs and Raj Vishal and Aditya Santhosh two each for Alba-Red.

In reply, Alba-Red reached the target losing just one wicket. Romir Chandresh top scored with an unbeaten 38 and Arnav Nair an unbeaten 10.

Romir was declared Man-of-the-Match.

In the other match, Pakistan Urdu School batted first and made 47 for six wickets with Mohammed Shahab (16) and Ammar Nazir (11 retired) the main scorers while Maaz Anwar was the most successful bowler for Alba-Blue claiming three wickets for five runs .

In reply, Alba-Blue reached reached the target with a wicket to spare. Maaz Anwar (8*) and Aryan Soni (9) were the main scorers while Amir Sohail claimed three wickets for four runs. Maaz was declared Man-of-the-Match.
