HISTORIC and strong relations between Bahrain and Italy came under the spotlight as celebrations were held by the Italian Embassy to mark the country’s National Day.

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa deputised his adviser Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa to attend the ceremony.

Italian Ambassador Domenico Bellato hosted the event at the Gulf Hotel’s Gulf Convention Centre and was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, dignitaries, officials and guests.
