TWO Civil Defence employees suffered minor injuries when their vehicle overturned yesterday in Hamad Town.
The truck, containing the driver and two passengers, overturned on a roundabout at around 10.30am.
Sources said the two passengers were taken to the BDF Hospital for treatment to their injuries.
Meanwhile, a safety barrier tore through a car that smashed into it on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway.
The accident took place at around 6am on the southbound side of the highway, near Hamad Town.
The safety barrier impaled the car – running through the length of the vehicle. While the driver suffered minor injuries, there was no-one else in the car at the time.
