Stephen Loman will become the first athlete from Philippines to headline the main event of Brave Combat Federation.
Loman claimed the championship at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions hosted in Bahrain, by knocking out Gurdarshan Mangat in the first round. The victory marked Loman as the first champion to be crowned from Philippines.
Brave 13: European Evolution, to held on June 9 at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, features the athlete from Philippines defending the title against IMMAF gold medallist Frans Mlambo.
Loman is currently undergoing training at Team Lakay under head coach Mark Sangiao in Baguio City, Philippines.
Loman’s triumph in Bahrain brought the two nations together through the platform of sports when the Philippines Ambassador to Bahrain honoured the champion.
Loman, 23, will also become the youngest champion in Brave Combat Federation to defend the championship.
