Tumooh defeated Numas 7-1 in Group ‘4’ last night at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town to qualify for the quarter-final of Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Football Tournament.
Tumooh are on top of the group with six points, while Numas remained with three points.
Emanuel scored four goals for Tumooh in the 8th, 23rd, 45th and 79th minutes, along with Mohammed Khalid in the 5th minute, Abdulfattah Basheer in the 55th minute and Moosa Mohammed in the 75th minute.
Numas’ only goal was scored by Isa Jumaa in the 44th minute.
For his heroics, Emanuel won the best man of the match award.
Meanwhile, Suqoor Al Bahrain earned their first three points in Group ‘3’ by defeating Al Qala’a 3-0.
Suqoor’s goals were scored by Salman Mohammed in the 25th minute, Ali Hussain in the 69th minute and Ali Al Sayed Hameed in the 75th minute.
Meanwhile, two matches are scheduled for today in Group ‘1’ in the third and last round of the preliminary stage.
Victorious team take on VIVA Youth Centers team at 9pm, while Al Zaeem face Al Zilzal at 11pm, with both matches to be played at Khalifa Sports City Stadium.
Victorious team and Al Zaeem are leading the group with four points each, followed by VIVA Youth Centers team with three points, while Al Zilzal are last with no points.
