BRUNO Malfacine is set to compete in the IBJJF World Championships aiming to secure a 10th jiu-jitsu world title.
Malfacine is part of the Brave Combat Federation team and competes in the flyweight division. The Jiu-Jitsu legend from Brazil competed in the 11th edition of Brave where he beat (by submission) Rafael Pereira in the first round.
Malfacine praised Bahrain based Brave’s initiative of building up the division. He highlighted the signing of Hussein Ayyad, who is an IMMAF medalist and recently made his professional debut.
“I was impressed with his credentials. Hussain Ayyad is a student of a good friend of mine, Reza Monfaradi. We train jiu-jitsu under the same umbrella at Alliance Jiu-Jitsu,” said Malfacine.
