The kingdom has stepped up preparations for the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta and Palemgang.
The games, to be held in Jakarta for the second time, will run from August 18 to September 2 with around 15,000 athletes and team officials taking part.
Bahrain’s administrative team to the games held a meeting to follow up on the delegation’s progress ahead of the trip to the Far East.

They were Taha Al Shmlan (cycling), Abdulla Al Raees (bowling), Ahmed Al Durazi and Saleh Faraj (fencing), Meshari Al Hanafi and Haider Al Zu’bi (equestrian) and Kasem ben Jemai (maritime sports).
