Tumooh defeated defending champions Batelco Gunners United 5-3 in the final late last night to clinch the Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Football Tournament Nasser 11.
The match was attended by a large number of fans, including Real Madrid star striker Karim Benzema.
The first half ended 1-1 as Gunners scored first through Nigerian Oache in the 18th minute, before Habeeb Marhoon equalised in the 37th minute for Tumooh.
Tumooh went into the lead in the 58th minute through Emanuel, but Gunners equalised in the 69th minute through Brazilian Thiago, as the full time match ended 2-2.
In the extra time, Tumooh scored two goals through Habeeb Haroon in the 95th minute and Emanuel in the 105 minute. Gunners reduced the margine to 4-3 with a goal by Mahmood Abdulrahman in the 118th minute, before Habeeb Marhoon of Tumooh scored the fifth goal in the 120th minute, to lead his team to victory.
His Majesty the King’s representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Benzema crowned the winners.
They also honoured the winners of individual awards. Gunners’ Hassan Abdulredha won the best player award and Tumooh attacker Emanuel won the top scorer award with 12 goals, while Al Saqr Al Abyadh goalkeeper Majdi Al Najjar won the best goalkeeper award.
Gunners coach Shaikh Salman bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa won the best coach award, while the best team manager award went to Mohammed Al Obaidly of Al Nawayef team.
Benzema was earlier received on his arrival in Bahrain by the High Organising Committee president Tawfiq Al Salehi and other officials.
