Riyadh: The Saudi authorities have launched a clampdown on broadcasting devices used in bootlegging one of the sport channels.
The police have so far confiscated more than 8,000 devices which have been used in bootlegging one of the sports channels, reports Arab News.
Legal measures have been taken against the violators. The competent authorities have also destroyed the illegal devices in the presence of representatives from the government agencies involved in the campaign.
The authorities had already confiscated 5,000 other devices, ever since the crackdown was launched.
