A parliamentary committee has urged MPs to reject an amendment that would create a vote of no confidence in the government if the national budget is presented late.
The amendment to the 2002 Budget Law forces the Finance Minister to present the two-year budget to the Cabinet by August 31, which should then be submitted to the National Assembly before the constitutional deadline of October 31 .
