Three civilians were killed in the southern Saudi province of Jazan following shelling from neighbouring Yemen, SPA reported.
The military projectile which was launched by Iran-backed Houthi militias left Ahmed Al Sahari and his brother Saud dead, in addition to a relative who was with them.
They were in their car in a mountainous zone in the governorate of Al Aridha when their vehicle was hit by the shelling.
Accoring to Sabq, the three men passed way inside the car, which was gutted by the shelling.
"The projectile was launched deliberately to target civilians. These senseless actions of the terrorist Iranian Houthi militias fall under hostile acts against civilians," said official spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Col Turki Al-Malki.
In a statement posted on SPA, he said that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition "would strike with an iron fist all those who threaten the safety and security of Saudi nationals and residents".
