Bahrain backs meeting held in Mecca to support Jordan

Bahrain welcomed the meeting held in Mecca between Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Kuwait Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to discuss the economic crisis in Jordan and ways to end it, affirming that the results will contribute to enhancing stability and supporting the development efforts in Jordan. A Foreign Ministry statement said the kingdom appreciates the generous initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to hold this important meeting, reflecting his genuine approach to supporting brothers and keenness to establish security and peace in all the countries of the region.
