Kuwait City: The customs authorities surveyed 256, 000 passengers who travelled to overseas countries over the first two days of Eid Al-Fitr holidays, Alqabas reported.
A total of 1700 flights took off from Kuwait International Airport, transporting thousands of passengers to their respective destinations.
Kuwaiti Civil Aviation director-general Youssef Al-Fawzan unveiled the updated statistics in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Civil Aviation chairman Shaikh Salman Sabah Salim Al-Humood touted the airport and inspected the flow of work to cater to the flux of passengers travelling abroad.
