Abu Dhabi – Yemenis, Syrians, and Libyans will be entitled to a one-year residency in the United Arab Emirates.
They feature among other nationals who will benefit from the new residence regulations as they come from war and disaster-stricken countries.
“Foreigners who benefit from the new measure will be granted a one-year residency to regulate their situation and find jobs or return to their countries in case they regain stability”, said Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al-Rashdi, Acting Director General of Foreigners Affairs and Ports Department.
In an interview with Sky News Arabiya, he urged people coming from countries devastated by wars and disasters to report to customers’ happiness centres and apply to benefit from the new residency facilitations.
