A batch of 40 Saudi women has qualified to work as investigators at the General Directorate of Traffic.
They have graduated as the country gears up to the lifting of the ban on women’s driving on Sunday (June24).
A graduation ceremony was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, in the presence of the Traffic Director-General Major-General Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Bassami, reported Alriyadh.
Al-Najm company director-general of corporate communications and marketing Maha Al-Shanifi, said that the graduates had undergone intensive training to qualify as investigators and probe traffic accidents.
