Three children were among five people from the same family who were killed last night in a horrific road accident in the Saudi province of Jazan, Al Riyadh reported.
The driver lost control of his Hilux Toyota which veered off and rammed into a lamppost, leaving five of them dead on the peripheral highway near Madhaya area.
Jazan Red Crescent official spokesman Bishi Al Sarkhi said that the children, who died on the spot, were aged 5 to 11.
Three other family members, including two children, sustained moderate to critical injuries and were taken to the Al Masarha Hospital for treatment.
