A MOVIE night is set to take place at La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art in Manama next week.
Guests will have the opportunity to watch the 1972 semi-autobiographical film Roma on July 17.
Also known as Fellini’s Roma, the comedy-drama film depicts Italian director Federico Fellini’s move from his native Rimini to Rome as a young man.
It pays homage to the city, shown in a series of loosely connected episodes set during both Rome’s past and present. The plot is minimal and the only ‘character’ to develop significantly is Rome herself.
Peter Gonzales plays the young Fellini and the film features mainly unknowns in the cast.
The film ticket’s value can be used as credit at the restaurant on the same evening.
Dinner will be served from 6pm with the film beginning at 8pm.
