Kuwait City - The Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has been invited to pay a visit to the Carter Centre, in the City of Atlanta.
The Kuwaiti leader has received an official invitation from US President Jimmy Carter, said the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Carter expressed thanks to the Amir, hailing his initiative and call for all parties to meet and settle the GCC crisis, wishing him success in his efforts to maintain the GCC unity.
The Carter Center is a nongovernmental, not-for-profit organization founded in 1982 by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, in partnership with Emory University.
