LONDON: Deep-rooted Bahrain-UK friendship places the two countries in an ideal position to seize opportunities to achieve a brighter future, said Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
This came as the minister attended the annual reception of the Bahrain-British Friendship Society at Churchill Hall in the British House of Commons, in the presence of British MPs, including all-party parliamentary group chairman Conor Burns.
Shaikh Khalid affirmed that Bahrain is moving forward in all areas of development to achieve more prosperity despite challenges in the region.
He welcomed the official opening of the UK Naval Support Facility in Bahrain and trade exchange growth, expressing confidence that relations between the two countries will continue to grow at all levels to achieve common goals and enhance security and prosperity in the region.
