Muscat - Two African expatriates suspected of dealing in counterfeit money were arrested by police and referred to the Public Prosecution to face charges.
The two suspects were caught red-handed as they were in possession of counterfeit money, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on its twiter account.
Under article 175 of the Omani Penal Code, suspects convicted of counterfeiting currency may be jailed from 5 to 15 years.
