MUNICIPAL authorities in the capital are working to allow development on plots of land surrounding one of Bahrain’s two world heritage sites.
Forty investors, who own land stretching up to three kilometres around the Bahrain Fort, could be allowed to build if their projects do not harm the fort’s status as a United Nations World Heritage Site .
