A car rammed into a shop on Al Najah street in Al Mubraz town in the Saudi region of Al Ahsa.
The woman driver lost control of her Toyota vehicle because she pressed the brake and the accelerator simultaneously which resulted in the accident.
According to Al Watan newspaper, it was the first female-related accident the Eastern Province ever since the ban on women’s driving was lifted on June 24.
The car ploughed around 12 metres inside the shop which sparked panic among employees. An old woman shopper sustained minor injuries.
