My decades of experience on roads in the Middle East should allow me to offer the following suggestions:
For all the pickup truck and minivan drivers in Bahrain, in case they don’t already do this, here’s a top tip: When driving on the highway get into the middle lane and stay there, this saves you wasting valuable time and energy on operating your indicator, judging by the amount of waves you will get from other drivers you will know they appreciate it too.
Indicator? It’s also best if they drive much slower than the speed limit as this saves fuel and will be beneficial for the environment!
Also, driving as close as possible to the car in front leaves more space behind for other road users .
