MANAMA: Chinese giant Huawei has announced the Bahrain launch of its new nova 3 and nova 3i smartphones.

The devices are powered by artificial intelligence (AI) in overall functioning and camera features, claims the maker.

The new range of smartphones also has dual front (24MP+2MP) and dual back cameras, powered by AI enhancements helping to create selfies at the first click by capturing both the face and the surroundings.

AI is a recurring theme in the devices whose features include AI scene recognition, AI enabled beauty algorithm and Kirin chipset with AI capability.

“We are delighted to announce the launch of Huawei nova 3 and Huawei 3i series in Bahrain. Both these smartphones have unparalleled AI capabilities and exceptional front camera features that capture every detail beyond the face in a selfie. It introduces AI background scene recognition in front camera and has the ability to recognise age, gender and skin tone to capture perfect AI selfies,” said Huawei Consumer Business Group Middle East multi countries manager Bill Yu.

“Selfies, these days, are a self-expression of our confidence, our bravery and our passion, especially amongst the younger generation. We are confident that the launch of the new Huawei nova 3 series will be a success amongst selfie lovers in Bahrain.”
