Riyadh – Saudi Arabia has issued a total 1,720,680 million visas for pilgrims to enter its territories and perform the Haj rituals, according to a ministry official.
Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Consular Affairs Tamim Al-Dosary unveiled the updated statistics in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The last batch of pilgrims arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Muhammad International Airport in Madinah on Wednesday.
The Saudi authorities announced the arrival of 1,684,629 pilgrims - 1,558,024 pilgrims arrived via air ports, while 84,381 pilgrims through land entry points and 16,163 pilgrims through sea ports.
