A HEALTH corner will be set up at the third edition of Chocolate and Coffee Exhibition which is being held in December this year.

The corner will host doctors and dieticians who will provide health tips and medical advice related to coffee and chocolate.

The expo, organised by Bidayaat Company, is set to take place on December 6-8 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sanabis under the patronage of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority chief executive Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa.

“The health corner will host doctors to talk about the side-effects of coffee, such as how many cups of coffee are recommended daily and the effect of coffee on mood and sleep,” said Bidayaat chief executive Yasmeen Jamal yesterday.

The health corner will also host a dentist to talk about the effects of chocolate on teeth, while a nutritionist will advice on how to balance chocolate and coffee consumption with health and fitness.

“The health corner will also showcase the latest nutritional studies on the impact of chocolate and coffee on the human body, and in the Gulf region in particular,” said Ms Jamal in a statement.

The GDN reported in April that nearly 150 exhibitors from all over the world are expected to take part in the exhibition.
