A PROGRAMME aimed at promoting the culture of direct communication between the executive management and employees has been launched at Batelco.
The ‘Together We Grow’ initiative is the first of its kind in the telecommunication company’s history.
All employees received a personal invitation to meet the chief executive and human resources general manager without the presence of direct line managers, to encourage freedom of speech during a series of workshops.
The drive was also aimed at encouraging constructive thinking by employees to become innovators.
An open dialogue process was adopted in the workshops, with the CEO emphasising the importance of employees and their position in the company while also highlighting the role the management played in considering employees’ needs and interests.
