A training programme began on Sunday at AMA International School – Bahrain (AMAISB) under the theme ‘Collaboration and Coaching for Improvement in Practice’.
The theme is based on the result of a training needs analysis of teachers and support staff.
Moreover, the training is expected to
improve teaching practices and bring progressive impact in the achievement of the enrolled students.
The eight-day training is being attended by 110 teachers, 13 subject co-ordinators and nine child protection support staff.
Educational specialist Dr Ayadh Labadi is sharing first-hand information on how to manage a lesson productively and also strategies of teaching with creativity that ensure students reach their full potential.
Bahrain Polytechnic University senior lecturer Ali Shahbaz Ali also discussed the importance of soft skills for teachers.
