A new batch of pilots from the Gulf Air-Tamkeen programme took to the skies on the national carrier after completing ground and base training courses.

The seven pilots are now operating as Second Officers to complete a set of flying hours and earn their next stripe making them First Officers.
An agreement was signed between Gulf Air and Tamkeen in May aimed at enhancing opportunities for the training and employment of Bahrainis within the kingdom’s aviation sector.
