MANAMA: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an Indian IT service provider, will develop a robust core insurance system for SNIC Insurance Company, a Bahrain-based insurer, following the signing of an agreement.
In a statement, SNIC general manager Khalid Al Shaikh said the move is aimed at supporting digitalisation transformation, speeding up product development and elevating customer service experience.
“As part of SNIC’s strategy implementation, the robust core system will enhance competitive advantage by supporting general and medical insurance, financials and business intelligence and harmonising the existing product lines.
“We want to stand out in the crowded marketplace with an agile platform that allows us high-velocity responsiveness as well as the ability to anticipate change.
“The only way we can distinguish ourselves and grow our brand through unparalleled customer experience, quick service delivery and innovation,” he added.
