Muscat – Two Arab nationals were arrested in Muscat for their involvement in a string of robberies from cars.

The two monitored bank customers who withdraw large amounts of cash money from their accounts and then follow their vehicles.

Once bank a customer park their car, the suspected burglars break open the windowpanes and steal the money.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) patrols caught them red-handed and referred them for investigation.

ROP has called on citizens and residents to exercise caution when visiting banking, advising them to avoid leaving cash in their vehicles after withdrawing money from ATMs to avoid theft.
