Top Italian fighter Leon Aliu will make his promotional debut at Brave Combat Federation on September 21 at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Aliu has an undefeated career record in professional mixed martial arts with eight straight wins. Seven out of eight wins came in the very first round. He has a 100 per cent finish ratio with none of his fights left for the judges.

Currently training with the Iron Team – MMA Training Centre in Italy, Brave 16 marks the first time Aliu is competing in the Middle East. He will face Chad Hanekom from South Africa.

Hanekom will be returning after a performance of the night winning first round victory in Brave 13 hosted in Belfast. The bout will be critical in the division as it is set as an eliminator for the upcoming championship title fight announced for the Middleweight division.

The division is currently dominated by Ikram Aliskerov who has been victorious in all his four appearances at Brave. Aliskerov has an undefeated professional record apart from being the 2017 World Combat Sambo champion.
