Riyadh – An earthquake measured four degrees on the Richter Scale struck in the governorate of Dhahran Al-Janub, in the province of Asir.
The Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) seismological stations detected the quake at 07:29:10 am this morning.
SGS Spokesman Tariq Abal Khail said that the quake happened to the north-west of Yemen.
He said that the inhabitants living in neighbouring towns felt the tremors, adding that the quake left no casualties. People living in the province of Jazan also felt the earthquake.
