MANAMA: Al Salam Bank-Bahrain (ASBB) has launched a new full-service branch in the growing commercial and residential area of Tubli.
Central Bank of Bahrain executive director of banking supervision Khalid Hamad presided over the official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was also attended by CBB director of Islamic financial institutions supervision Fahad Yateem, ASBB first deputy chief executive Anwar Murad, head of retail banking Mohammed Buhijji and other senior officials.
The new branch is located on Tubli’s service road and is reachable through Shaikh Isa bin Salman highway offering easy access to customers residing in Tubli, Jidali, Zinj, Um Al Hassam, Adhari, A’Ali and Sehla.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr Murad said: “Growing demand for financial products and quality services both in Tubli and its surrounding areas made it a priority for us to launch a larger full-service branch within close proximity of the Shaikh Isa bin Salman highway.
“The new and relocated Tubli branch is an ideal location to offer our customers a suite of unique Sharia-compliant banking products and is better equipped with a 24 hours ATM and iBANK self-service channel allowing customers to apply for their desired banking products electronically that includes applying for opening an account or any of the financing facilities, request to print their account statements, view their accounts or card transactions and balances, make card payments in real-time and make requests to receive new ATM PIN or cheque book and much more, all under one roof,” he added.
The branch will be open from Sunday to Thursday.
