Grand Millennium Hotel, Muscat has appointed Tyronne Dehoedt, an industry veteran, as its new director of food and beverages.
With ample years of hospitality expertise, Dehoedt has worked with international hotel chains across Asia, Europe and the Middle East and brings with him a wealth of experience to the sultanate, said a statement from Grand Millennium.
In his new role, Dehoedt will assist in planning, directing and supervising all activities associated with the operations of the food and beverage division. He will also be responsible for ensuring that the high professional standards expected of the brand are met, it stated.
Dehoedt’s planned strategy for the coming months includes the relaunch of Bahriyat Mediterranean restaurant for seafood aficionados, as well as a family-oriented brunch at the all-day dining restaurant Taybat, said the statement.
"The quality of the dining experiences offered at Grand Millennium is getting better and better. I look forward to offering both our local guests and international visitors a dining experience to remember," remarked Dehoedt.
Taybat restaurant and terrace will offer a street food festival that will serve seven cuisines from the around the world, with international chefs invited to Muscat for an unforgettable celebration of good food, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
