GENEVA: Several rights organisations and participants at a symposium being held in Geneva have condemned Yemen’s Houthi representative for threatening a Bahraini human rights activist.
Arab International Network for Human Rights general co-ordinator Faisal Fulad was threatened for exposing Houthi lies at the symposium on Yemen being held on the sidelines of the 39th UN Human Rights Council session, reports our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
Symposium participants have also called on the Swiss security authorities to take legal action against the Houthi representative, who was angered when Mr Fulad outlined war crimes committed by the Houthis in Yemen as well as its use of children as soldiers. Mr Fulad also outlined Iran’s role in funding Houthi terror.
